Apple has announced the launch of the first-of-its-kind $200 million fund, that "will make investments in forestry projects to remove carbon from the atmosphere while generating a financial return for investors." This effort is part of Apple's broader goal of achieving carbon neutrality across its entire value chain by 2030. Since 2018, Apple's stores, offices, and data centers have run on 100% renewable energy.
